Our Story
Eclectic Ethnic began in 2019, founded by a pair of friends who saw the lack of beautiful biodegradable products in the market. Since then it has grown to include art and other items that support communities from different regions of the world.
Looking through countless “eco friendly” websites, they found there was no transparency about the products we buy. In an age of information and accountability companies should no longer be able to hide information about where the products were made. Who made them. What their production methods entailed.
This made them wonder if they were continuing to contribute to the problem of modern throw away and exploitative culture.
We began hemp home as a way for people who want to live a life that doesn’t hurt humans, animals or the environment to find beautiful alternatives to common household items.
Not only do we find products that are sustainable and made from all natural products, we actually go and meet our suppliers. We visit their factories and meet their staff. Our products have to be non-harmful to the environment but also not harmful or exploitative of people.
